Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Be ready for pick up from either the airport or your Kigali hotel by a local tour guide from Wild Rwanda safaris. Your tour starts off with a Kigali city tour starting at the Gisozi genocide memorial site, later visit the Kimironko fresh fruit market, the caplaki craft market, later have lunch in Kigali. You will set off for Musanze province home of volcanoes national park. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight at The Garden Place (Budget), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/ Davinci Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Five Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trek and Iby’wacu Cultural Center
Today, be ready at the Kinigi park offices by 7:00 am for briefing and there after choose the type of hike you are comfortable with from easy, medium and tough hike. You are accompanied by rangers, armed guard and porters for the trek to see mountain gorillas. You have a chance to see them as close as 5 feet and some times come closer and touch you – its incredible. The gorillas mostly just eat, lay around and play and don’t notice your presence as they are used to humans.

After Lunch, step out for a visit to the Iby’wacu Cultural Village where you will learn more about the Rwandan cultural practices.
Later; Dine and rest for overnight at The Garden Place (Budget), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/ Davinci Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Five Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge (Luxury)

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you’ll hit the road for your transfer to Kibale Forest National Park in Uganda. Its home to East Africa’s largest chimpanzee population with a number of other primates incuding; vervet monkeys, and blue monkeys among others.
Reaching the late evening, check in at your lodge and later Dine and rest at Chimpanzee Guest House (Budget), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury).

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Visit to Bigodi Sanctuary
Upon rising, enjoy your breakfast and report to the Kanyanchu offices 9where you’ll be equipped with all the necessary information and tolls) for the chimpanzee tracking exercise.
In the afternoon, following your lunch; you will take a stride to the Bigodi Sanctuary – a birding center.
Later Dine and rest at Chimpanzee Guest House (Budget), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury).

Day 5: Departure via Kigali or Kampala
Have breakfast at leisure and proceed with your drive to Kampala for drop off at either a hotel / Entebbe International Airport.
