4 Days Congo gorilla tour & Mount Nyiragongo hiking safari taking you to explore the Democratic republic of Congo and its beauty. This tour is exclusive for travelers looking at gorilla trekking in Virunga national park and hiking mount Nyiragongo starting in Kigali and back to Kigali Rwanda.
Tour itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from you hotel in Kigali – transfer to Gisenyi in Lake Kivu.
Our company tour guide will pick you up from you hotel in Kigali or on arrival and transfer you to Lake Kivu.
Optional activities for this day is to visit the genocide memorial site in Kigali, or relax along lake kivu.
Dinner and overnight at Paradise Malahide, Hotel Gorillas
Day 2: Cross into Goma – Congo – Start hiking mount Nyiragongo
Wake up early for breakfast at your hotel and be ready to cross to Congo and drive to the starting point of nyiragongo, start the trekking after briefing and you will spend a night at the top of nyiragongo in cabins.
Day 3: Descend Nyiragongo – visit Goma town
Descend down and then transfer to Ihusi hotel, Bukima tented camp, Mikeno lodge in goma for dinner overnight.
Day 4: Virunga gorilla trekking – Transfer back into Rwanda – drive to Kigali for drop off
Wake up at 6:00 am and drive to the starting point of gorilla trekking at Bukima for briefing and then start the gorilla trekking. After you drive to the boarder and cross to Rwanda side, Transfer back to kigali.
