Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
You will be picked up by our company driver guide from either a hotel / Kigali International Airport for a transfer to Akagera NP; east of Rwanda at the Tanzanian border. The drive is about 3- 4 hours taking you through the hilly country side. Reaching just in time for lunch and later proceed with an amazing afternoon game drive; looking out for elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes as well as the newly reintroduced lions. Dine and rest at Rusizi tented lodge (Luxury), Akagera Game Lodge (Midrange)

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Lake Ihema Launch Cruise
Today, rise a bit early and with your morning coffee, proceed with an amazing game drive to the northern part of the park and here expect to view; the early risers before they head to their hide outs or even engage in their days’ hunts.
Later, in the afternoon, have an amazing boat ride on Lake Ihema rewarding you with aquatic wildlife species like the hippopotami, crocodiles, buffaloes among others as well as the various bird species.
Dine and rest at Rusizi tented lodge (Luxury), Akagera Game Lodge (Midrange)

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kigali and Departure
Upon rising; have breakfast and later set off for Kigali for drop off at either a hotel or Kigali International Airport.
However, with an early arrival, you may engage in a Kigali City Tour to visit the Gisozi Genocide memorial Site (with the remains of the 1994, Rwanda Genocide out Break), some big market centers like Kimilonko and several craft shops and stores
